Christmas is coming!

It feels wonderful to be making Christmas cards, it really gets me in the spirit.  Here in Australia we are going into a very hot summer for Christmas this year.  So it's nice to play with faux snow, furry hats and wintery scenes.

I was super excited when I was cleaning up my scraproom and found this paper pack.  It came with several sheets of patterned paper and this image, and all the pieces to make it 3D! All the pieces just pop out, and you assemble them with 3D foam tape.  How easy is that?!

I used the paper as a background to my card, it has strips of sparkle down it!  Then I layered on the embellies and the assembled picture.  The base picture is bordered in sparkle, the the present and bear are built up layer by layer.  Lastly I added some bling and some tiny mail.

The little December tab actually had 2015 on it, so this was a great way to use up old stock.  This photo also shows the layers really well, giving the bear a real 3D look.
