It's dark and stormy out today, thunder and lighting and everything frighting - even the dog is in my bed! I on the other hand am in my Scraproom enjoying the sound (it hasn't rained in months) and am happily colouring this gorgeous image from Polkadoodles. I chose this image as I thought it would be perfect to put in a clear Christmas bauble.
I coloured her in with my Copics, added some gold Stickles to her halo and some gloss to her eyes, which really brings her to life. This photo was taken just after glossing so her eyes are really shiny. Then I fussy cut the image and ever so carefully rolled it so I could insert it inside the bauble. I used a long tool to help flatten the image out again and secured it with a little hot glue.
Inside the bauble is some patterned paper I cut into strips and then curled. Patterned paper is our theme this week at Southern Girls Challenge, come over and join us for a ton of fun and prizes! I then added some red, white and green star sprinkles and a good sprinkling of glitter. The glitter clings to the sides of the bauble because of static, which gives a fabulous effect, it really sparkles beautifully next to the Christmas lights.

Here she is, all tucked up in her bauble, glitter, stars and paper curls at her feet. I added a bow at the top as a final decoration.
