Nursey will look after you - 31DOH Day 18

Welcome to the 18th day of 31 Days of Halloween, hosted by the awesome Smeared Ink! There are many awesome and talented crafters in this blog hop, which you'll find listed on the right, and you can start right back at the beginning if you've just arrived here :) There will be treasure hunts and prizes to win, so don't forget to visit everyone!

If you're afraid of needles, or they make you squeemish then this post is sure to make you uncomfortable!  I've created this card for the Southern Girls Challenge Blog with the theme of "stripes", and also for the 31 Days of Halloween Bloghop.  I was given this image by The East Wind on Etsy and coloured it using my copics.  I used a sketch from Mojo Monday to construct my card.

I've doodled around the edge of the image in black fine point pen, then wrapped the image in black tulle and tied it off with some red and white twine and added a skull.  The background papers have been distressed around the edges and layered according to the sketch.

I had a lot of fun with props for this card.  I added a bandage, some candy blood in a blood bag and a needle - which you can buy at the chemist.  I glued a sewing needle in the end and added red Stickles - cause lets face it all crafters blood is filled with glitter!

Thanks for visiting!  Your next stop on the hop is Airless Chambers.
