You spin me right round

Once in a while you come across an awesome image - or two and know exactly what you want to do with them!  That's what happened when I got to choose these two images from Oddball Art.  They are Moldy Meg number 168 & 168B and I've used them for this week's challenge over at Southern Girls Challenge.

I printed both of the digi images onto card and then coloured them with my Copics.  I added some green stickles to the ghoul and gloss to the girl's lips and eyes.  I carefully cut the images out and placed a piece of orange thread down the middle of one of the images and sealed it between the other image using my ATG gun.  I then constructed my card using orange and black Bazzill cardstock and some Halloween patterned paper.  I cut out a rectangle and laid the card flat on it's face on my cutting board.  I created an insert from orange Bazzill and cut a rectangle from that too.  Then I laid the Moldy Meg image in the rectangle and pulled the orange thread taught and sandwiched it between the card and the insert.  I then trimmed the overhanging thread when I was happy with how taught it was.  I gave the image a little blow to see it in action.

I can't wait to decorate for Halloween!  Come on over and share your whimsical, fun or cute creations at Southern Girls Challenge - we'd love to see it!
