Hi and welcome to everyone from the 31 Days of Halloween blog hop! If you want to see more of the awesomeness that this blog hop has to offer, the you can find the blog roll on the left in my sidebar.
I love books, I love craft, and I love digi stamps - so I combined them all lol. I was given a bunch of books that I didn't read, they were quite old, yellowed and not really the genre that I am used to reading. So instead of collecting dust I started tearing pages out. I've seen several of these done on Pinterest, so figured they can't be too hard to make. I cut a circle of card and laid that on the table. Then I rolled each page and glued them to the card circle. I made some paper cones for the second layer, and glued them down. Then I coloured my Meljen's Designs image with my copics and added a border of orange ribbon. I cut out another circle of card and added 2 layers of black tulle to the edge. Then glued the digi image to the card circle, sandwiching the tulle in between. I punched a hole in the edge of the base cardboard circle so that I could hang it on the wall.
Here's a closeup of the cute little scarecrow. I coloured him in Halloween themed colours, added some perfect pears and a little gloss on this beak and legs.
Thanks for visiting, and enjoy the rest of the hop :)
