Free hugs

If you've arrived here from the Blogosphere you've qualified for a free hug!! Lol  And here in Australia that would make them Koala Hugs.  Did you know you can't just go and grab a koala out of a tree and hug it? That's if you even found a koala up in a tree, cause they're not that easy to find, and not in such large numbers that you just see them all the time.  I've lived and travelled in Australia and only seen one wild koala in a tree, and learned that day that they are really feisty and have very sharp claws.  They are best left to a professional.  If you ever get to hug one though in a zoo (and I have several times) it really is unforgettable.  They can be heavy, they hold on with their little arms and smell like fermented Eucalyptus leaves.  They're soft, move slowly and are quite sleepy.  And they are all so very cute!  Just one of the reasons why I chose this image from Lacy Sunshine Stamps.

I have coloured my image with Copics, then glossed up their eyes and added some Liquid Pearls to the girls headband.  I also gave her bow a bit of bling.  For this card I used a sketch from Incy Wincy Designs.  I loved the idea of hanging bunting on a card!

I am entering my card in the following challenges:

  1. Chocolate, Coffee & Cards Challenges - Polka Dots
  2. Crafts 4 Eternity Recipe Challenge - Bunting and Banners
  3. Creative Fingers Challenge - Anything Goes - Make it Cute
  4. Fairytale Challenge - Use a digi stamp
  5. Wags & Whiskers - Polka Dots
  6. In The Pink - Animal Antics
  7. Whoopsie Daisy Challenge - Lots of Pink
