Wild About You!

Here's a little card I made for a sweet little boy I know.  He has a little Giraffe blanket that he loves, and he likes to see my cards online and on Facebook, so I thought that I would make him his own!

Now I immediately went to my favourite Digital Stamp company - Doodle Pantry, for a giraffe stamp and was sad to find that there wasn't one, so I turned to Google Images to find a digital stamp that I loved.  I searched everywhere until my eye caught the image to the left.  It was cute, I loved the colours and well the style was just perfect.  It seemed familiar, kind of like some of the digital images that I already had, so I figured I just like this particular style.

I clicked on the picture in Google Images and it took me to Clear Dollar Stamps and low and behold this little giraffe image is made by Laurie Wilson of Doodle Pantry!!!  Was I excited or what!!!  So as quick as you can say print, I had this little cutie on my desk and ready to put on my card.  I can't wait for Coen to see it!
There's a few techniques I have used on this card.  Firstly that big green felt shape you see there is actually a coaster!  I found a bunch of them on sale at a homewares shop and simply chopped it in half to use on my card.  I have also used cork as my background, I inked the edge of my little flag and I doodled some borders.

The inspiration for this card comes from a sketch from Mojo Monday
