Another sweet little baby!

One of the children in my kindy room has just become a big sister, so I made her a card to celebrate this wonderful event.  I've known this little girl since she started at my centre last year, so it's wonderful to be part of this wonderful milestone!

For this card I used a sketch from Cardabilities, and a digital image from Doodle Pantry for the DPDC14 challenge.

I started with the image in b/w then coloured it with my Copic markers.  I then added some Sparkly Fluff to the hat band and tummy to create a warm fuzzy feel.  The hat also has a cute little green pom-pom on the top.  I used lots of scraps for the background, some ribbon and I made some striped flags to run across the corner.  They are raised on foam dots.  I then doodled around the background with a black pen to help the edge stand out a little.
I added some inking to the edge of my Bazzill cardstock and some blue pearls.
You can see his little tummy better here - it really is fuzzy with a touch of sparkle.  All you do is carefully apply glue to the area you want the fuzz to stick, then I used tweezers to pick up tufts of the Sparkly Fluff and deposit it over the glue.  Once completely covered I poured the fluff off the paper back into it's container.  It's wonderful stuff!!!
