Get your markers ready!!

Oh who knew how much fun it could be to scribble all over your layout!  I just kind of let my artistic side take over with this one - it's Marker Challenge week over at Practical Scrappers and this is what I came up with!

Yep that's a marker, and yep that's a whole lot of scribble.  I was inspired by a layout I saw a 2 Peas by Lisa McGarvey and just knew I had to give it a try.  Since I'm a bit of a perfectionist with my layouts, I wasn't entirely happy with the results, so I had to tweek it a bit, and finally decided to use some chipboard letters instead of colouring their outlines in - I kept the "r", and Stickled the life out of it.  There are also tiny round pink stickers with a "u" and "a" on them to complete the title.  The swirls were made by drawing around some that I found in a piece of lace paper.  I then over-layed some rub-on circles.  The line of scribble you see at the bottom, was created by ruling some thin black lines.  Then with a piece of scrap paper I laid it over the bottom line and then scribbled away.  When you lift the paper you get this cool scribble line that doesn't go above your ruled line.

You can see the scribbles, Stickes and tiny little circle stickers a little better here.  I'm much happier with using the chipboard letters.  Originally all the letters looked like the "r".

Down the side I just used some folded ribbon and some pale yellow brads. You may also be able to see the inking at the bottom that I did on the yellow bazzill.  It helped give it an aged look.

Now go and graffiti a layout - you won't believe how much fun you'll have!
