Retro Skater Girl

It's Retro week at Southern Girls Challenge! We want you to Smash Your Stash and use something on your project that is older than a year.

The one big reason I love making cards is because I can use all the scraps I've collected from scrapbooking.  Every single card is made up of different scraps, and some of those scraps are as old as my youngest daughter (8)! For this card the green Bazzill and the pink patterned cardstock are well over 12 months old, as is the little flower and brad.  I've probably had the Tanya Leigh Designz goodies for over a year too come to think of it - that's the acetate stamp, acetate clock, 3-in-1 word ring and game square.

I have used an image from Polkadoodles and coloured her with my Copics, then glossed her bow, eyes, lips and lollypop.

To go with the retro theme, I coloured her shirt in a tie-dye pattern, and added a space invaders character and a floppy disc for decoration.  My youngest took one look at the disc and asked what it was, my eldest told her it was a 3D printed save button lol  It's hard to believe the size of one photo from my camera doesn't even fit on one of those discs.

I have joined the following challenges:

Crafty Gals Corner - Punches/Dies (w)
Craftaholics R Us - Sports (w)
That's Crafty Challenges - Just Cards (2w)
Polkadoodles Craft Challenge - Anything Goes (w)
