For each holiday I did a photo shoot of my girls together. I was so very happy to have two gorgeous girls that I wanted to share them with all my friends and family.
Pocket Pages are a great way to showcase several photos of an event and Tanya Leigh Designz has some fabulous designs that can be used to accent your pages.
I used the Love Me Project Life Cards and trimmed them to fit in each pocket. Then I placed the photos and carefully added the embellies. I trimmed the doilies so they looked real and fit under my pictures. I cut out the smaller embellies and adhered them with double-sided tape - I added some gems here and there.
A heart embellie with a gem
A photo tab and a little love embellie. I distressed the edges of my photos for a soft effect.
Adding a meaning to your page is a great way to embellish. This one was trimmed from the sheet and adhered to the photo. I has a lovely aged look.
The heart embellie was trimmed and then had a gem added, the sparrows were adhered with a staple and came from my stash.
Calendars are a fabulous way to add a date to a page. This one has a splash of colour and a gem added to the date. I distressed the edge and added a tab to the edge. Underneath is a post card that comes in the pack. I crumpled it up for texture.
I layered several different papers in this pocket, including the doily which I fussy cut. I also cut out a tiny flower and put a gem in the centre.
I love adding quotes on my layouts, and this one is perfect! I added a tab and two embellies that I cut out and added gems to.
Here's another pocket with several layers, a doily and a tab that I added gems too.
