Cute Little Valentines

Valentine's Day is only days away and what better way to show someone you love them - send them an exploding box card! Yep this is a card, it folds down flat to fit in an envelope and then pops right back up when opened!

I used a really neat template from My Scrap Chick - it comes with the shape of the box and the templates for the side papers and inserts.

I then used some really cute images from Melonheadz Illustrating - the images are available in coloured or outlined, I used colour images to make this project extra quick and easy.

All I had to do was print and cut the images and then place them inside the box.

Isn't it cute!  There's 2 bars inside the box that you adhere your decorations to, and the back flap of the box which stays upright.  You can also add images to the flaps and the sides of the box, the options are endless!

Here's a little closeup of the little characters in the box.  I glossed different elements for added shine.  The papers I used also have flocking on the little birds to add texture.
