A cat a fish and a car...

I received a special request this week to create a 60th birthday card.

Now this card couldn't be just any ordinary card, it had to incorporate the birthday dad's favourite car - an EH Holden, his favourite AFL team - the Geelong Cats and some trout fishing!!

Challenge accepted!

So I created a step card which would showcase each item easily and in a fun way.  The fisherman I used for this card comes from Karen's Doodles.

This card folds up pretty small, but it sits beautifully open so that the receiver can admire it for a long time.  I left the back of the card black for a special message.  the digi image was coloured with my Copics and I found the car, trout and Cats images on the internet.  I added a tiny scarf, bottle and mascot to the image for fun.

I was so excited to find this car - I know nothing about cars - but this one looked exactly like the one I was given, so I think I'm on the right track.  I added the Birthday Dad's actual number plate from his first car too. (It's all about the details).

Here's a little closeup of the digi image.  I've added some gloss to the bottle and fish for realism.

Here is the side view so you can see how the card stands.
