Christmas Candy

I LOVE creating gifts for my friends and family and Christmas time is so much fun! I found this neat little tin at Spotlight, and then found this fabulous candy at a local market and they just had to go together!

I found an entire 12x12 sticker sheet full of Christmas quotes, so making this gift was really easy.  The strip around the tin fit perfectly and doesn't take any of the view away of the candy.  I used scraps of green card to make the rosettes and added some stiff red & white twine for the flower.  I found that I needed to de-stick the "Santa was here!" sticker and then hot glue it to the rosette.

To finish off the tin I added some organza ribbon and another rosette on top with some holly.

To give my gift that extra professional touch I used a Tanya Leigh Designz Clothes Tag, and topped it with a sticker and gem.  These tags are fantastic for adding little pictures to or a sentiment.

This is the top of the tin, there is a little washer that's included to use to open the tin when it's sealed.

Those delicious candies - actually they're too pretty to eat lol  I got them at the markets from Cake & Candy.
