I love it when two challenges come together as if they were planned that way! To begin with I joined a Sugar Skull pocket letter swap and then I realised that this weeks challenge at Southern Girls Challenge Blog - Anything Goes, was in-fact using a beautiful image from SLS Lines - Day of the Dead Calavera Girl.
*Squeal!*
I love sugar skulls and Dia De Los Muertos, so I love every part of creating this PL and tag.

I love sugar skulls and Dia De Los Muertos, so I love every part of creating this PL and tag.
Here is the whole pocket letter - I created the banner across the top using pictures of sugar skull cookies. I added black gems to their eyes, glued them to some black and white string and then popped on some pretty resin flowers.
The tag was created by colouring SLS Lines gorgeous image with my copics. I'm still getting the hang of colouring hair, and black has challenges of it's own! The girl had a flower in her hair, so I decided to add 2 pretty paper flowers for dimension. I added another one at the bottom of the tag and added a tiny skull. I inked the edge of the image and added it to some black card, then topped it with some ribbons.
I added some black gems to her face and then I glossed her eyes and parts of her hair.
You can see the gloss in her hair in this pic.
On the back of the PL (I forgot to take a pic) I added more pictures and goodies for my pal.
I've entered the following challenges:
SLS Digital Lines Digital Stamps Challenge Blog - Anything but a card
Ribbon Girls - Any Image
Robin's Fetish Challenge Blog - Anything but a card
Little Patch of Crafty Friends - Anything goes
Left of Centre Challenge Blog - Skulls
Digi Designs Challenge Blog - Hot bright colours
Creatalicious Challenge - Anything goes + optional twist of flowers
Crafty Catz Weekly Challenge - Use some bling
