Watch your fingers! - 31DOH Day 20

Welcome to the 20th day of 31 Days of Halloween, hosted by the awesome Smeared Ink! There are many awesome and talented crafters in this blog hop, which you'll find listed on the right, and you can start right back at the beginning if you've just arrived here :) There will be treasure hunts and prizes to win, so don't forget to visit everyone!

Oh how I love pocket letters and I also love Edward Scissorhands!  I haven't watched the movie for years, so I think a movie night is in order - but I loved finding all these photos and even a digi stamp from The Octipode Factory on Etsy.

I filled both sides of my pocket letter with photos, fan art and posters from the film.  The tag was created with a base of black glittered cardstock, then some film printed cardstock.  I then added some purple torn Bazzill and wrapped some purple webbing that I had left over from another project.  I coloured Edward with my Copics and added some gloss to his eyes and the buckles on his outfit.

Lastly I added a Edward's glove which I hand cut each piece and then constructed.  I embellished with a couple of paper roses and a bright orange organza ribbon with twine bow.

This is the front of the pocket letter, with Edward tag and Edward paperclips.

This is the back of the pocket letter - the bottom left corner is a photo of the actual story written by Tim Burton.

Isn't he cute - pop vinyl pictures make the perfect paperclips!

Thanks so much for visiting.  Your next stop on the blog hop is Airless Chambers.
