Happy October and 31DOH Day1

Welcome to the first day of October and the first day of 31 Days of Halloween, hosted by the awesome Smeared Ink! There are many awesome and talented crafters in this blog hop, which you'll find listed on the right, and you can start right back at the beginning if you've just arrived here :)  There will be treasure hunts and prizes to win, so don't forget to visit everyone!

Okay, onto my first creation!  I'm working on Pocket Letters at the moment, so I thought I'd create a Halloween themed one.  A Pocket Letter is a wonderfully creative penpal letter system that lets you share your creativity and some goodies through the use of a baseball/footy card sleeve.  It's like creating 9 little double sided ATCs.

I've used a Golden Book for today's letter, choosing some cute pictures of children dressing up.  It's an ABC book, but I just love the pictures - they follow onto the back of the pocket letter too.

I created a cute little tag to go along with the letter using a Dearie Dolls digi image that I coloured with my Copics.  I added it to the tag with an acetate clock, some orange thread and some black bazzill.
I just love how colourful this pocket letter turned out.  I added some fun goodies - stickers, acetate clocks, felt black cats, washi tape and Halloween trinkets.
Isn't she darling?  I added a tiny puffy heart to her costume too.

Thanks for visiting!  Enjoy your hop through the blogs, your next stop will take you to Airless Chambers
