A spooky pinwheel - 31DOH Day 4

Welcome to the fourth day of 31 Days of Halloween, hosted by the awesome Smeared Ink! There are many awesome and talented crafters in this blog hop, which you'll find listed on the right, and you can start right back at the beginning if you've just arrived here :) There will be treasure hunts and prizes to win, so don't forget to visit everyone!

Today I've made a Halloween pinwheel - it's been quite blustery here over the past couple of days, so I thought this was perfect.

I used a sheet of sparly black cardstock, it had a white backing which I wasn't overly fond of, so I added the orange.  Now you can just see the white peep through which gives a nice contrast.  On the edge of each triangle I also added orange Stickles.  In the centre is a brad (holding the centre together), then some black tulle and a metal patterned badge.

On the straw, which I have used as a handle for the pinwheel.  I have used a free digi image from Neat and Tangled. I love this all the fontography and doodling that has entered the crafting world, and really want to try some brush writing myself.  I backed this digi stamp on orange card and then doodled a border.

Thanks for visiting, your next stop of the blog hop is Airless Chambers.

I love pinwheels! This one is particularly pretty. I think the sparkles would look awesome in the wind.
