I Love You

Yes that's right - I love all my visitors and commenters.  Happy Valentine's Day to you all!

I created this card using a sketch from Freshly Made Sketches - FMS140.  When I spotted it I knew that it was the perfect sketch for this card - what I didn't realise though was how well it would work with the background paper!  Completely unintentionally the "i love you" lined up with the gap in the pink cardstock!!  Here I was excited that I was finally using this paper (which I've had in my stash forever) but now excited with perfect alignment! lol  Ah the things that make me happy.

I used this very cute little image from Whimsie Doodles and practised colouring some wavy hair this time.  I managed to get a really nice ombre effect on the dress with my Copics and I created little scuff marks on her shoes using my white Sharpie.  I coloured in the kiss using my silver ball point pen and glossed her glasses and little kiss tag.  Finally I added some bling, Liquid pearls, and black doodled borders.
Here's a close up so you can see the silver kiss, gloss and Liquid Pearls.  The kiss has a really nice shine on it in the sunlight.

I have included this card in the following challenges:
D.R.S. Designs Rubber Stamps - Include "Love" on your project
Crazy 4 Challenge - Opposites (Black/White, Shiny/Matte, Texture/Smooth, dots/lines)
Hiding in my Craftroom - Any holiday (Valentine's Day)
In The Pink Challenge - Pink & Pearlie
