Day 5 - Spooks to be you!

Hi and welcome to everyone from the 31 Days of Halloween blog hop!  If you want to see more of the awesomeness that this blog hop has to offer, the you can find the blog roll on the left in my sidebar.

Now on to day 5 - this was so fun to make, it's a giant wooden peg with black paint wash.  It also has a magnet on it so I can hang it on the fridge to collect notes.  I coloured an image from Oddball Art Co, and then added orange flocking to her hat to make it fuzzy.  I stapled on some black tulle and 2 black flowers and added some acrylic dots that I created using Pony Beads.  I inked the edge of the card (which is about the size of an ATC) and added a little sentiment.

I love that this is functioning art, and I can have a little bit of "creepy" all year round :)
You might be able to see the orange flocking a little easier here, it really gives the hat some texture.
Thanks for visiting, and enjoy the rest of the hop :)

Soo cute. I love that it can hang on the fridge, but don't really know what a wooden peg is. Enlighten me?

As it's been said Halloween is not a Holiday, it's a Lifestyle.

great projects, I am not into Halloween as we rarely get more then a couple of kids where we are not. In years past we use to get enough kids to go through at least 15 bags of candy but we lived in a small town in Ohio then,. I am not following you and found you on Kit and Clowder, which is a wonderful site. I to an taking the classes there.
