Christmas in July

Are you getting excited for Christmas? I am, I cannot wait.  This year I am going to be hosting Christmas festivities for both mine and my hubby's families as we now live close to both of them!! I have the spot for the tree all picked out, and I'm planning my door wreath and light display!!  I love Christmas.

Well I figured since I was organising everything else I had better get a move on with my cards so they are ready too.  For this card I used a sketch from The Sweet Stop (SSS218).  I simply rotated it to fit my image.  I coloured this image not long ago and I'm so glad I did cause I didn't find my printer in the packing in time to print a new image for this weeks challenge at Sister Act Card Challenge.  The image actually looks quite pale here, but it's a nice ginger brown and the gum drops are sparkly and mauve.
Here's a little closeup of the embellies:
I raised the stamp sticker on 3D foam dots and then tied some twine around it.  I then added it to a snowflake sticker and stuck some bling on each branch.  I finished it off with a small yellow pin.  You can find this image and sentiment at Doodle Pantry.

I have entered this card into the following challenges:

  1. Paper Crafting Journey - Christmas In July
  2. Great Impressions Stamps - Anything Goes
  3. Catch the Bug Blog - Anything Goes
  4. 5 Simple Things - Anything Goes
  5. C.R.A.F.T Challenge - Christmas
  6. Pile it on Challenge - Food
  7. Inky Impressions - Christmas In July
  8. The Paper Players - Christmas In July
  9. Paper Makeup Stamps - Anything Goes
  10. Crafty Sentiments - Christmas In July
