A little under the weather

Boy do I feel yuck!  I also have an assignment due by Monday and I leave tomorrow on the train with my two girls to head up north for a few days.  I should be glad that this is the first I've been sick in nearly 6 months - since I left working in child care - but I have so much to do!

Any way, crafting always makes me happy and this little image was PERFECT!  It's from Digi Darla Designs and is called Digi Darla's Sick Lil Girl.  I coloured her up with my copics and then added little spots of Sparkly Fluff to her jammies to make them look all warm and comfy.  You might have noticed I also added some goggly eyes - I love goggly eyes, they give a little character!

Even though this is a get well card of sorts, I wanted to make it bright and cheerful too.  I added a little smashbook tag, and sad face ticket and some tiny little washi tape flags.

I used The Sweet Stop sketch #SSS212 for the top part of this card - the bottom hides a little secret!  What's the one thing you need when you're sniffy and sneezy?
Tissues!!  Yep there's a little compartment in the bottom that holds a purse pack of tissues, perfect for runny and sneezy noses.

You simply slide the tissues out one end and use, then return to your card.

I created a little journalling spot on the bottom of the card for you to write something inspiring or uplifting so when the receiver sees the card they'll feel a little better.

The great thing about this card is, without the tissues, it folds completely flat to go in an envelope :)

Here's a little close up of that sweet little girl again, and if you have a card you want to share, why not pop over to Sister Act Card Challenges and share it with us!!  You could win a prize!!
Isn't she cute!!  This digi image is so clear and can be printed at any size.  You can just see the little furry dots on jammies and her slippers are furry too!  The borders were doodled by me, and the circle in the background has a  distressed edge.
