Do I stink?

Okay this was one fun and funny card to make.  My eldest daughter just thought I was weird, I mean who makes a card with an outhouse on it?!

Here in Australia the outhouse has many names:
The longdrop
Dunny
Loo
Toilet
Thunder-box
Can
Throne
and various other 15+ names I won't mention

Thankfully you don't find to many of these in houses anymore - well I haven't.  They are making more of an appearance in parks though as "long drops" because they are eco friendly, but when you visit those toilets you have to watch for snakes and red backs!!

Any who enough toilet talk, I just loved this little image when I saw it and then imediately thought of the little skunk and just knew they would go together!!  First I coloured the little building with my copics.  I used a pre printed image of the skunk.  I also printed some of the digital papers that come with the the outhouse image.  I carefully cut out the door so that it would swing open.  I popped the little skunk in and then backed the box with the digi paper to act as wall paper (yes it's a posh dunny - generally they only decorated with webs and magazines, if you're lucky!!)  Now the little skuck was originally holding a little flower.  I trimmed that down to a small stalk in the skunk's hand and then added my loo paper.  I created the tiny roll with a strip of tissue (the kind you blow your nose with).  I rolled it up till I was happy with the size then very carefully added some adhesive from my ATG (yeah that was some trial and error!)  Then I simply poked the roll onto the little bit of stem in the skunks hand.
I took the photo from a few angles so you can see the dimension.

Update:  I can't believe it!!!  I made it into the top 3 at Stampin' Sisters in Christ Challenges!!!

How cute.I love the little roll of toilet paper in his hand. I was looking through pictures of old cards that I have made the other day and I was looking at one that I had made that was an out house similar to yours with a quilled toilet paper roll. So fun. You have to be careful who you send it to. They have to have a sense of humor!! Thanks for sharing with the Stampin' sisters in Christ Challenge.

OMG I LOVE it Sarah! The toilet paper is adorable, your colouring is fantastic. We still have a lot of "longdrops here in Canadian parks too, but I sure wouldn't use them if there was a chance of snakes yikes!
