Prayers needed

There's a little girl in the Toddler room of my daycare centre and she needs urgent prayers. She hasn't been able to play at our centre for over a week now after starting off with a cold that developed into pneumonia and now she's on life support and dialysis.  It's absolutely devastating and we are all playing the waiting game.  I can't possibly imagine what her mother must be going through right now.  Some of the staff that were close to this child have popped up to visit with her, and we plan to do it again on Sunday to show our support.

Please keep this family in your thoughts and prayers, they truly need a miracle.

I made this card for the little girl and her mum.  As soon as I saw this image from Meljen Designs it spoke to me, and it's perfect!  The little girl reminds me of a sweet little sprite with a lot of determination!  This card will be signed from me and Sophia, as she's Sophia's little friend.   All the staff at our centre also put together a scrapbook of artwork, poems and positive words for this family.
I wanted this card to be bright and convey positive thoughts and feelings - so I used lots of cheerful colours, bling and soft ribbon.  I also used stickles through the fairy's hair, the flowers and bumble bee.

The layout for this card comes from Mojo Monday - Challenge 191

Oh how very sad. I can't imagine how scary this must before the family. How sweet of you to make such a cute card for them.
