Featured again!

This month Scrap Your Crap has been featured in the online magazine Scrapstreet.com.  The theme we went with was mixing and matching 10 different manufacturers on the one layout.  This was a fun way to use up scraps that we already have.

First I chose some fun photos of Sophia multi-tasking while driving a mini coupe.  She had Smarties rolling around the parcel shelf at the back, and was drinking and chatting as she cruised along.  She also had her cousin pushing her along and they both managed to reverse into a weather vane!

I used lots of different papers and embellies and I also created a 3D scene as this layout is now housed in a box frame on my wall.  Where you see the curls in the paper - there is actually a piece of clear thread and dangling from it is a wire star.

You can see this a little better in the photo above.  I also scrunched up some blue tissue paper for a sky effect, added cut out clouds and adhered them with 3D foam tape and then popped on some bling for stars.

I cut out some little houses, pleated some ribbon and added some brads for the title.  The title letters are glittery and sit on a strip of tulle.

So go on, what are you waiting for - use up some of crap and create something awesome!!!
