It's a two pager!!!

Oh I haven't created a two page layout in - gosh I can't remember when!  So this was a real challenge for me!  I find it so hard using up twice as many supplies than a regular page - but I had tons of photos of Sophia playing on the patio last weekend with her Nan, so I knew this two-pager challenge was the one for me.  Plus it's an awesome sketch to work with - and look out - there's more of that negative space!!  Okay here we go!

I used some white cardstock for the background and then used a nice piece of scalloped paper for the feature in the middle.  In the sketch it's actually a square, but that's the great thing about sketchs, you can mix and match and go with what you want!  I then trimmed some Crate Paper patterned paper for the edge pieces and then started to layer on some scrap strips of paper, some are punched, scalloped, and cut.  Then I popped on the photos - I love how the mini photos were printed (pre matted!!), so all I had to do was cut them up and voila, stick 'em down!  I doodled around the big photo with my black Zig pen.

This flower was created by layering two different types together and then sewing a button in the centre.  I also added a little book plate with a strip of Bazzill inside.  I love finding long lost things in my stash!

No layout is complete without a little bling right?!  I added some stars from Kaisercraft.  They come pre-shaped so you just have to peal and stick!

This little closeup is just to show the sparkly title "with nan".  I love these letters, they come with both upper case and lower case (I got them with my gift voucher from Rhonda - thanks sweety!!)

Oh and before I forget, this layout was created for the Sketchy Thursdays sketch challenge - I am so glad I found this blog!!!
