The sketch has all the things I look for - great design, a couple of layers, room for my own interpretation, tags and a spot for journalling.
Thanks so much Julie, when I saw your sketch I immediately thought of these photos, cause it had the perfect spot to put my hand made marshmallow girl!
I saw her while browsing on the internet ages ago, and knew I was going to use the idea!
Here is my little marshmallow cutie - she's made with felt (body and eyes), I used some leather for the arms and legs, the black of the eyes is made from letter stickers that I trimmed, the dot in the middle is white zig pen. The eyebrows, smile and freckles are stitched with black floss. I added the flower and little bling tiara to match the flower at the top of the layout (it's a paper flower cut in half).
The base cardstock is from DCWV paper stack, and came with the border you see in the photos - I added some bling dots to the swirls for interest.
