My Debut at Scrap Your Crap

Today marks my first post as a Scrap Your Crap Designer!!  And my layout is based on the theme of 2010.  Yep we had to use the numbers "20" and "10" when designing our layout.

I doodled 20 lines in black pen, created two lines of bling – one has 20 dots the other has 10, there are 20 words in my journaling, I sewed on 10 buttons and added 10 pearls to the ribbon along the bottom. I also inked the edges of the pp along the bottom, the arrows are stamped and the little bird is chipboard.

This layout is of Sophia playing Peek-a-boo in the curtains of our lounge room - she loves sitting at the window and watching the world go by, then she discovered she could hide in the curtains and pop out when she wanted to!
Here are some closeups for more detail:

In this layout you can see the stamped image - it's actually an arrow, but works well for a wing!  I also a used raw white chipboard bird and tied a ribbon around the tail.

Here you can see the sheer ribbon along the bottom.  I cut up some pink striped cardstock and randomly laid it across the bottom of the layout - all the edges are inked in pink.  Then I overlaid the ribbon and pleated it a little - keeping it in place are tiny stitches.  The pearls are stuck on some of the flocked dots.
