A sketch and layout!

Over a Practical Scrappers we have Friday sketches - and this week Lucy Chesna has created one for us.

My layout is of the day Amber and I decided to have a Girly Day - we were going to pamper ourselves with a facial, paint our nails and have a foot spa and movie. Yeah don't laugh - scary photo of me huh! Any way I put Amber's mask on first and within about 2 minutes she started to tell me that it hurt. I said that it couldn't hurt it was just a cream mask and that it just might tingle a little (Amber has gorgeous skin and doesn't really need a mask so I bought one that was plant based with no chemicals and was safe for her skin). Amber then began to apply my mask (we did each other), and sure enough within 2 minutes my face was on fire!! I asked Amber if that's what she felt and she nodded (poor pet). This photo was taken straight after my mask was applied and then I ran to the cupboard for a washer and immediately cleaned Amber's face - then mine. Our faces were red! We used a cold compress until the stinging subsided. After that ordeal, we decided to paint our nails, apply nail stickers and bling and then settle in and watch a movie - NO MORE MASKS FOR US! It's a little hard to see in the photo but I have butterflies and bling on my toes and Amber has Minnie, Tinkerbell and bling on hers.

Here is the sketch:
Isn't it a cute sketch - go on you know you want to create a layout with it! If you do - pop on over to Practical Scrappers and leave your name on the linky so we can all see it!

Cute Layout! I have 2 daughters and treasure the memories of the "girl days" we used to enjoy together. Too bad the cream had to put a damper on your fun :(

Thanks for joining in on Practical Scrappers!

What a great bonding activity! I think I should do that too with my 12 (going on 30! hehehe) year old daughter. Hmmm, what color of nail polish must we use? hehehe
