My little sweet-heart

This month I am joining in a challenge at SB.com which is also linked to a Challenge at Ideas for Scrapbookers. All you have to do is choose from one of the fantastic layouts shown and then scraplift it! It's that simple. Scraplifting is great for inspiration - especially when you have a lot of photos to scrap and not a lot of time to think about it! This layout is also for Scrap Your CRAP's challenge to use heats and glitter. You can see my layout at the left.

I chose a photo that I had enlarge ages ago - Amber was about 6 (?) here and we were on the Big Red Car ride at Wiggle World, Dream World. She was sitting in the front as the car drove itself around a computerised track (no train tracks, just electronic points the car drove by), and I was sitting in the back seat. I love this photo cause it show how big and beautiful her eyes are!

This layout uses some of my favourite products - Doodlebug, buttons, flowers, brads, Stickles and doodling. I even managed to make my own flower! It's in the bottom right corner. I also used pearls, brads in buttons, ribbon and {{very excited about this!}} coloured inks!!! I bought some inks from Martha Stewart and inked a pp strip (more coloured inks to come!)

Here are some closeups:

You can see my rose a little better here - it has a bling centre and the edges are all stickled so they sparkle. There's also a pearl adorned pin with organza ribbon and the hearts are glittery too!
I used my corner punch to create the scalloped edges, then created lines with my Zig pen. I used decorative scissors on the paper and some tearing. The title is sparkly. I distressed the edge of the photo too.
