Die Cutting at Practical Scrappers!

This week we are using die-cutting machines and die cuts - and only a couple of weeks ago I thought I wouldn't be able to join in - and then my sweet Cuttlebug came into my life!! Haha. I used to make some hearts for this layout:Hmm yes totally not the best photo of a two pager - but it's been very overcast and I had to do it infront of a window for natural light.

Let's try a closeup:

I used a Page Maps sketch for this layout - the big circle in the middle just screamed "Mickey Ears" to me, so that's what it became. I used the heart die cuts (these are actually the bits punched out with the hearts that I used on my Valentines Cards). I blinged up the Mickey Ears and used white letter stickers so the title would really stand out. All papers are Bazzill. These photos are my favourites from about 100 that I took - very hard to photograph the stage area!
I just had to include my very own princess - Amber as Aurora (Sleeping Beauty). She looked so beautiful for the ice, even little girls that passed her at the Entertainment Area where the production was held told her she looked beautiful! Amber adored the show and bought souvineers home with her.

Oooooh, Disney on Ice brings back so many memories. We went to the Peter Pan one when I was little. How neat to turn it into a scrapbook. Good stuff!
