My beautiful Jesse

After having a visit from a look-a-like few nights ago, I've been thinking alot about my Jesse. She was my first furbaby and was sadly taken by a snake last year. I created this layout about Jesse for Practical Scrappers - we had to use lace paper. I chose these cute dog bones for my background, it's a little hard to see but they're glittery.
This was taken sometime last year at my mother & father in-laws place, which is where Jesse has lived for quite a few years now. When we moved we were unable to take her with us cause we moved to a Townhouse Complex. Jesse had plenty of space to run and play and her own dam - cause she loved water in the summer! As a pup she had her own green Turtle Pool - she also liked to indulge in the odd ice-cream from the ice-cream truck! Jesse is a mum to 11 pups! Her first and only litter. We kept one of the pups (before we moved the first time) and called him Zac, we still know where he lives and have visited him. All her other pups went to loving homes in various states. Jess and Sweeps were the best of friends too - they would play fight and chase each other - just like sisters. Jess was also a great jumper, she could clear a 6ft fence no problems and did quite often when we moved to the city - this is why she was much happier once she moved to my in-laws property. Plenty of space to run and she could roam around the house with no fences in her way. We still love you heaps Jess, I hope you get to jump fences, chase butterflies over rainbows and sleep on clouds whenever you want. (I have hidden journalling behind the photo - it's just sticking out to the left.)

Here are some closeups
Here's Jesse's rainbow and clouds, I put a bunny in there too -cause she loved to chase them and kangaroos all the time. The bunny has a peace sign cause I know Jess is at peace now. Theres also a felt border in doggy shapes, a doggy ribbon and some little pearls.
Some little trees to run about in, lots of sunshine and some tulle for decoration. I put a little tag with last years date on too. The pp you see with the words on has been sewn to the layout, and I added the little bling dots to the title. The grass was created with a strip of scrap pp, then snipped to look like grass.
