Cause for celebration!

Yesterday I found out that I have officially finished my Diploma of Children's Services!! So when I return to work I will be fully qualified and won't have to study anymore!! Wooohooooo!!! I am so happy and can't belive it's finished! My mentors were even yelling down the phone to congratulate me!! My study was supposed to take me two years to complete, but because I was enjoying work so much I didn't do much last year and had to complete it all this year, so I finished it in about 7 months! Phew, and yes I think my brain died a few times.

So I decided I wanted to thank the two wonderful ladies who helped and supported me through my studies - my mentors at college. While I never actually went to college (I did my studies externally), I rang them many times with many questions (cause the modules are so rediculously worded and had so many errors!) So I made them a card each - I know it's a small token, but you can put a lot into words. Here they are:

Can you belive all the pp you see is scraps! I love cards!

Congratulations! That's wonderful you completed your diploma. YAY for you! :D And in 7 months no less...I'm truly impressed.

And your cards are very cute. I love making cards from scraps, it's the best!

I was thinking you might like an art site called ATCs For All...I'm a member there and I'm just getting back into things. It's a bunch of really lovely folks who swap art all around the world. SO much fun. Check it out and tell me what you think! http://www.atcsforall.com
