Cheeky Monkey

I found some time to scrap - woohoo! I also found some photos - finally! The first layout is of Sophia sitting all by herself! My cheeky monkey did it one night before getting in the bath - turns out you can sit better on a soft change table than you can on a mat on the floor! Sophia then did it again while we were out visiting. She's getting better at it every day, and loves to sit upright where she can see her toys and reach them - Sophia is also sitting upright in her carseat now too - facing forward where she watches the world go by and she can see her sister a little better.I created my own pp shape, then using my sewing machine I stitched a border in pink. The frilly ribbon is also stitched to the scalloped cardstock. The little animals and flwoers are rub-ons (which I'm never buying again!). I also added the circle card that has milestones on it - I stamped a pointer that points to "sitting still". The title is stamped too. I used a PageMaps Sketch for this layout.

The second layout is of my funny girls playing dolls. We were going to go for a walk one afternoon to pick up the car (it was in the shop), but realised that the pram was in the car (and I wasn't carrying Sophia that far!), so Amber came up with the idea to use her doll pram. I let them drive all around the house (Jas ended up picking up the car on his own). They looked so cute walking around the house - Sophia would bang the tray to go faster, and babble and talk all the way. Then they stopped for a pitstop - Sophia's bottle was ready, and not to stop the fun, Amber fed her in the pram!
The cardstock in the middle is really black (doesn't scan well), the flowers are paper, that I folded in half twice to create buds. The doodling and journalling are done in white pen. The pattern at the top and bottom of the black Bazzill was done with my Threading Water Punch - I just didn't punch all the way to the ends. I've had that bling word forever, and now I finally get to use it!

Yes I've hit the bottom of my stash - it's been a while since I've shopped for supplies!
