Feeling Fortunate...

It's nearing Valentine's Day so I'm looking for all sorts of fun things to make for Amber and Jas. I found these adorable felt fortune cookies over at Martha Stewart.com. I've created my own tutorial for them so that you don't have to search for it yourself.

I made the felt fortune cookies above, and put them in a pink noodle box that I bought at Riot. I printed out quotes that I found at: http://www.quotegarden.com/valentine.html . These are soo easy and fun to make, even Amber had a go. I used a hot glue gun though - because I'm too impatient to wait for glue to dry, so it's deffinately a supervised activity if little people try it. Here is the tutorial:

Have fun! (Just click on the images above and you'll go to still photos of the project for easier instruction reading)

If you're a craft teacher her, I'll sign up right away! You are soooooooo talented Sarah. I wish I am gifted like you so I can create beautiful crafts with my daughter (except for clay modelling which I guess is becoming my forte...). Wow...super wow!
